Chapter 3 Review

We finished Chapter 3 and students worked on the Chapter 3 Review on page 39.  If students did not finish in class it is homework due tomorrow.

Chapter 3

We began Chapter 3 today, discussing covenant and sacrifice.  The remainder of class was used for students the work on their tests from last week.  Students really struggled with the fill in the blank section, so I allowed students to fix their answers using their textbook.

Today we took a practice quiz on the books of the New Testament.  Students need to to be able to list the books in order and spell them correctly.  Tomorrow is the real quiz.  Below are the books in order, spelled correctly:

Memorizing the Books of the New Testament

Today we began memorizing the books of the New Testament.  Students were shown three different YouTube videos that could be used to aide their memorization.  The videos are below.  There will be a practice quiz on Monday and the real quiz on Tuesday.

Chapter 2 Test

Today students took their Chapter 2 Test.

Chapter 2 Review

Today we went over the Chapter 2 review.  We then discussed some of the questions that will be on the test.  The test is tomorrow.

Mass

I want to thank all of the 7th graders, especially those who participated in the mass today.  It went very well and I was impressed by the students.

Mass Practice

Today we went to the church and practiced for mass tomorrow.  The reader's practiced using the microphone.

Chapter 2 Review

Students worked on the Chapter 2 review in class today.  Also, the readings were passed out to students who have readings in the mass on Friday.

Chapter 2 - Knowing God through Scripture

We finished reading Chapter 2 from our books.  We also took volunteers to participate in mass on Friday, because the 7th grade is in charge.
