Students earned a day of playing Skunk because they completed the memorization and reciting of the Come Holy Spirit Prayer a day early.

We finished the Come Holy Spirit Prayer today.  Every student in the class recited the prayer.

We continued reciting the Come Holy Spirit prayer.  About 7 students have completed the assignments.

Come Holy Spirit

Students began memorizing the prayer, "Come Holy Spirit."  It is a diocesan requirement for the 7th grade.  Students will need to recite the prayer in front of the class by Thursday.

We took the unit 4 test today.

We went over the Unit 4 review to prepare for tomorrow's unit test.  The unit test will cover Chapters 10, 11, and 12.  The test will be open book.

We discussed Hobby Lobby's decision to sue the government over healthcare.  We avoided political debate an instead focused on the company's decision to follow their religious beliefs over government law.

We also started chapter 11, but were not able to complete the opening activity due to the copier being serviced.  We instead watched the video below.
